About the Residential Program at Sierra by the Sea

Understand the residential program at Sierra by the Sea in Newport Beach, CA

Sierra by the Sea offers a residential program for individuals who need a more acute level of care than they would receive in a partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), or the traditional outpatient setting.

The residential setting is ideal for individuals who need a high level of support and a distraction-free environment to focus on getting well. Residents receive round-the-clock medical care and an intensive level of therapy while they participate in residential programming at our facility in Newport Beach, California.

Some individuals step up to our residential program from a lower level of care, such as a PHP, IOP, or outpatient therapy. However, some residents come to Sierra by the Sea right at the residential level of care.

When you or someone you care about comes to Sierra by the Sea, our specially trained staff will conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine your medical history, challenges, strengths, and goals. Based on that assessment, we will help identify what level of care best fits your current needs.
